I use green leaf or romaine lettuce primarily, sometimes shredded pieces of carrots.

I tried but my guinea pigs are to fat and spoiled they won't do any of these they want their food fed directly to them 🙃 help me🥲

Baby steps! ❤️ Try luring them just one step with a treat in your hand and reward with a few nibbles of food every step. They will give up quickly at the beginning if it gets hard or confusing for them.

No clickers usually, but I use a marker word when needed.

Losing a furry friend is always hard. I’ve had guinea pigs for over 30 years and every time it hurts. My favorite and most special pig was Whistler. He gave me 7and 1/2 years sharing tea, lemonade and cheerios. I still miss him vividly and I lost him in 2004. He was the pig that sat and watched the news with me and listened when I talked to him. I am sure that Spartan was the same for you. He will always have a place in your heart.

Thank you. ❤️ Spartan really was a special boy, and he still holds a big piece of my heart even with so many more piggies around now. ❤️ It's so challenging, but it's an unfortunate part of loving piggies. Whistler is the cutest piggy name btw, I love that! ❤️❤️❤️

Can you please read this? I had a new guinea pig that was named pumpkin and ever since I had her I did not teach her this. She just automatically followed me. And teacher or anything she just trusted me so much that she just automatically followed me. She did a lot of things that I didn’t teach her but she just did. I never had a guinea pig. Follow me before like ducks. She was a cute guinea pig while I had her sadly I only had her for two months before she passed away. My guess is that she got sick while I was at Canada for thanksgiving break. So I don’t have her anymore, but I’ll still remember that time when she followed me like little ducks. ❤

This video is very usefull for guinea pig owners with guinea pigs who are actually active, unfortunately mine aren't; you can set them down on the floor and they won't go anywhere! I love them unconditionally though, they mean a lot to me. Today I got 3 new Guinea pigs from my mums friend to take care of for 2 weeks, they luckily are active, move and communicate a lot so I will definitely be trying this. Thanks! 🤍
