I understand tough decisions like this. We're guys, and more specifically, we're car guys. So on top of us liking the vehicle for what it is, we associate them with the past, which often (and hopefully) brings us happiness. The past for many of us was great. Many good times, lessons learned, more family, friends and pets were still alive, etc. Do what you need to do brother, good luck and Godspeed.

I feel ya brother,i have a 2003 tacoma prerunner,with almost 280,000 miles got it 10 yrs ago, drove the beast on so many road truyps with even more memories!! The beast is still in mint condition and get weekly offers over 15 grand,but i dont think ill ever sell it, for 2 reasons she is a super reliable truck with only basic maintenance. And the last the memories,shch great times!!! Btw got it with only 22,000 miles on it

20k is too much for that year and mileage

Good question. It's a v6 mated to the 5-speed manual transmission.

You never get rid of the old body style. The 97 is nice also but not like the 87
@peytonmathis7460Ай бұрын
Put the 87 in an ac storage unit and tell your wife you sold it then in 5-6 years or when the time is right get a buddy to make a fake marketplace post and “buy” your old 87 back boom you got both

You dont HAVE to. Sell someones kid instead. Or a baby. Its not worth losing out, you have to weigh your options.

Look up Renegade Hybrids - they make Chevy V8 kits (small block and LS) for 911’s and 914’s.

That's a ls . You can see it's turbo charged and supercharged. It's just like the standard engine they put in the space shuttle. Just add the flux capacitor . DORMAN sells the flux capacitor , part number #8675 309 ask for Jenny.

Because Porsche only made 4 914/916 gt8. I’ve seen them with a lot of other Porsche 6 cylinders and 8 cylinders from out of the 928 put in them. Those cars were horrifyingly fast. Way more than the Carreras once you put some power and suspension to them.

That's a small block Chevy. The swap kits to put them in Porsches were common back in the 70s and 80s. This is a 914 and they definitely needed the power boost.

That is the pcv hose and fitting you’re seeing, my friend. The yellow accel wires are all going into the side of the head. That’s an LT Chevy engine. Somewhere between a 305 and a 408 but more than likely a 350
