Is absurd that cryptococcal disease is outside the USA is here my brother lived in Virginia, he got cryptococcal diseases and he had no AIDS cancer or diabetes. He was very healthy Christmas 2021 he had won a basketball tournament. By April 2022 he got really sick we took him to a different hospitals all the time Drs said there was nothing wrong with him. He end up at the medical center in Houston they run all kinds of tests and say there was nothing wrong with him almost at the end the Dr said it was cryptococcal meningitis. My brother die 2 weeks later. I got all medical records to prove he was healthy and he had to of gotten the desease in USA. Why do we think it can’t happened in US??

That one is small compared to mine. Mine was a circle 1.97x1.25 cm about 9 months ago when it 1st hurt like hell got better with steroid pack I’m going to call in an hour or 2 to schedule a surgery because I’m at extreme pain #3 and this time the steroid pack didn’t work.

Hello! I realise this video is seven years old but i just came across it and i cant help but wonder what was the cause of these granulomas. Was it bcs some cottonoids were accidentally left behind?(which its unfortunate but understandable happens sometimes) Or was it actually the microscopic fibers of the cottonoids that caused it? Some barely visible under op microscope fibers are almost universally bound to be stuck to the brain but i had never heard of them causing granulomas. In this patient, was there some comorbidity that made him/her more prone to develop granuloma? Hope you read it!🙏
