Honestly, you don't need to do press releases or promotional or constant vapid social medias posts when releasing music. I mean, sure, you might have to do that if you wanna be really serious with getting the song out there and getting gigs and money and connections, but if you want to just share something from the heart to people, because you love making music and expressing yourself to not feel alone in the world, just share it somewhere and whoever enjoys it, enjoys it. Some of my favourite musicians have been little internet artists who just upload stuff on Bandcamp or KZbin and have their little close-knit following of people. They don't go through the hoops of interviewing or photoshoots or carefully-curated Facebook posts. I think it's great you decided to throw this out into the world in the end. Better than collecting virtual dust on a hard drive.
