The dealer replaced the fuel pump or some computer related to the fuel. It was years ago and can't remember for sure. I think they put one in from a 1200gs and I haven't had a problem since.

did you ever get this fixed? i changed plugs n air filter. bike has stalled 2x on me. starts n runs fine though. just when i stop. ran to dealer and got a bottle of fuel injection cleaner. if that dont help i will torque the plugs to 18nm
