You can get a generic Chinese centre stand for about 30 quid for these and they go on easy as the frame lugs are present as well as a rubber stopper under the silencer. Similar with a rear carrier. Silly money. About £36.

I do like there's bikes, but don't see why they have to be so loud. A friend has a CCM & that's too noisy as well. I'm sure he would've had a lot more fun on one of these

1:30 Is he saying that they remove the brand new parts and throw them away? We may live in a consumer society but that is absolute insanity.
@BirotarUK
@BirotarUK 6 жыл бұрын
dunbustin Correct. They remove the parts they don’t think will last, or fail early due to cheaper manufacturing. Chain and sprockets being one of those vital parts.

Sorry if it's been asked before, we're the exhausts on these 'stock' or were they fitted with the megaphone exhausts listed on the Herald site? (or even some other option). Really nice sound, especially on the over-run.

Birotar UK Oh well that's great news it's 250 cc classic type bike my favourite style of bikes so hopefully by next year I'll be getting one of theses once I sell my SFM roadster... :) it's worth it as well those tyres look as though they can last for decades...And as long they can do 70mph or 75mph for overtaking purposes without ifs or buts then I'm good it's just the right speed and it's what they law says anyway. Absolutely I feel so full now looking at this bike. Right size for me too.

For long journeys or constant motorway speeds, we would definitely recommend fitting a small screen to help protect yourself from the wind!
@counterserviceintelligence4426
@counterserviceintelligence4426 6 жыл бұрын
Birotar UK That's ok I was thinking windscreens as well but overall I'm pretty impressed with its quality and it does look promising. As long as it lasts me a long time and sucks less fuel and does 70mph comfortably for me it's all I can ask for. As a one time buyer with £3k I'm sure I can get at least 10 years out of it. And buy the looks of it you even take it on fields or deserts correct me if I'm wrong. But yeah very clever invention indeed.

I own a 250 mutt with continental tyres which are designed to be more off road than on , when i was at about 60 + mph the bike started to wobble maybe due to the chunky tread on the tyres but with that said its a great looking bike and has a great sound it turns many heads and people ask me what make it is and what size engine when i tell them its a 250cc it suprises them because of the sound and looks bigger than a 250 so im told
@BirotarUK
@BirotarUK 7 жыл бұрын
We found there was a some vibration from the Continental knobbly tyres above 65mph but anything above that speed starts to become a little uncomfortable. Simply because there is little wind protection, like with any naked bike! Yes, we agree, the 250 definitely sounds like a bigger machine thanks to that exhaust...
@tomneal72
@tomneal72 7 жыл бұрын
hmm you say you experienced the vibration above 65mph then if I have the same tyres and cc engine why do u suppose I experience the vibration at 60

IRISHROVER hi the rambler is £2950, cheapest you can find but be quick the rambler is limited as all euro 3 bikes are pretty registered and once gone they are gone, I've just sold one yesterday so none in stock ATM but we have plenty of pics of ours and have the 250 vegabond as a demo bike. If you want one or for more info give us a call on 07593972375. Thanks
