The writers were on something, this and the last 2 episodes did not match the same tone or vibe at all, the first five were buddy action comedy series and then it turned in to this weird dark thing.

I wont say Choi min Sik is the best actor I ve seen. But I ve never seen anybody act like he does. He owns every role he gets all the way to minute details .. Nobody would have gotten close to the performance he put forth in I saw the devil . Which is why the remakes of his movies and performance are not even closely matched . He is one my GOATs when it comes to acting .

I first saw this lead actress in "Burning" (Starring Glenn from Walking Dead) and wanted to see her do more. So seeing her in this film and "Korea: Heist" series made me happy she's getting roles.

7:34 i can kinda understand him, tho. he's adopted, not from lovable parents, but by a politician, who just wanted a good image and more votes. sure, he's got enough pocket money for his age, but they ain't no free. he take beating every now and then + personal insult from his politician father. he got into trouble, trying to save the smart kid, and one thing lead to another, he was having an adventure of his life time with the cool kid (the strong fighter one) they're slowly forming a trio. he was not a nobody anymore ... then this stray kid girl got into the trio, getting all the attention / love that he was thirsty of. maybe she didn't really cross the line or anything, but still, i can understand him as well. he's in a unique rough state, where his life itself is controlled by this evil politician who's only using him for the fame and political success. the smart kid is good looking and cute, so, no wonder she likes him. but the timing couldn't be any worse. if only she got into their lives just a month later, after the trio got really bonded like real brothers, perhaps. it's just a sad story for them all, i guess. c'est la vie, eh?
