Would it be better to think of it in terms of subdividing the quarter notes into eighth notes?

Hi Jonah. Loving your tutorial on this. When you explain the baseline progression you play the G in an octave below but when you show us how to combine the melody you play in higher. Can you confirm which you recommend? Also, when paying the second part of the melody do we start on part 2 or 3 of the baseline? Many thanks.

This is great, but I don't see part 2 or 3. Coming soon?

Jonah I love your technique. Most teachers I've had shows you but there so fast you can't catch it. I took for years and boogie is a different music from pop or classical. There's some classical teachers can't play this form of music.

Hi, I have been watching you for a few weeks now and really enjoying your way of teaching. I try to stick to the one video to absorb it all before I try to move on, so I haven’t seen many of your videos. I am a 73 year old male from Inverness Scotland. Started the piano in lockdown. At the beginning of this year I got the boogie woogie bug and have stuck with it since then. Thanks very much for your teaching it is really appreciated. Kind regards, Kevin Oliver.
