Pretty quiet with 1/2" positive tiller shooting 3 fingers under. Does the bow jump or vibrate alot upon release?
@sjohn_86274 ай бұрын
Can that brass piece that’s on the limb bolt go past the rubber pad and still be ok to shoot? I turned my bolts in all the way bottomed out and backed them out 2 1/2 turns. I’d like to turn them in a little bit more if it’s okay.

I love it! Looks like your form is pretty good to me. Also love the woods. I took one buck with woods and a Bear greenhead a few years ago. Fully planned to shoot woods on my Omega. But after building two dozen arrows, of two different spines, they were too weak. Last dozen are 60-65 and still showing weak! I am shooting 50# @ 30” and my Omega wants a stiff spine. Ended up with 340 carbons with 250 up front and 400s with 200 grain. Both shoot great! Much better than me anyway. Carbons were just too easy. Lol. I’ll build some more woods one day. Nice setup, hope you score on a good one!

Good shooting and good looking setup. I looked at a few Toelke longbows at the TN Classic that some guys were shooting. Man they are nice bows for sure. The Bible verse on the quiver is extra special. Good luck this season and God bless.

Great shooting! I've been thinking of getting a long bow. Shooting a Satori recurve now. That looks like a good shooter, have to look into it. What part of the country are you in? Great backyard range.

Great shooting! Are you still using the internal trigger?
@pitbullman41114 ай бұрын
Since switching to lefty, I just use verbal base cues to carry me through my shot. No more triggers of any kinda are needed for me. However if there ever came a day where I thought I needed one, I'd go back in a heart beat.

I would like you to purchase a left hand black hunter longbow and put a 1/4 of an inch elevated bump on the shelf and 1/16 of an inch side plate. I shoot these black hunters and for the money its hard to beat. I sold my bearpaw chief mohawk because I just shot the black hunter better. I have das bows and win@ win black elk bow. Id say the black hunter shoots just as good or better in my hand.. That bow of yours looks great!!!

Buy me one I'll try it! 🤪 I'm sure they do shoot grest. I'll always say though it's not the bow but the shooter that hits the target!

Your absolutely right about the black hunter longbow, I can't complain about the 2 I've purchased and I've shot and owned quite a few high end bows.

@@billytea5850 Yes I have two black hunters as well. One in 43 lbs at my draw length and the other around 48 lbs. These bows are fast also less gaps at 30 yard shots

@CampfireKodiak5 ай бұрын
I'm confused. Are you saying the endless loop string contributed to how quiet it is or that proper arrow selection and spine did all the work in spite of having a noisy string? I'm using Flemish twist. Should I switch?
@pitbullman41115 ай бұрын
I'm saying a properly tuned bow will be your biggest contribution to a quiet bow. Either a flemish or endless will serve you well

Are those limb bolts always supposed to be sticking out the belly side of the riser??? I’ve been running my flush and I think it’s really messing with the performance. Any thoughts
@kentwilliams33265 ай бұрын
Great info! After years of striving to find the very best setup for my longbow, I decided to simply fletch my cedar shafts with fletching that always corrected flight immediately after it passes the riser. I now "straight fletch" (no offset or helical) with full height feathers (not cut or squared off) thereby having the wing of fletching to cause arrow spin. FWIW. >>>>---------->

That 3D course would drive me nuts! So many are set up so that if one misses, the arrow is bye-bye!

I would like to know the bows you kept over the years? Maybe your favorite bows? Ahhh make a video of all the bows you have and what tickles you and why? For me it's the grip of the bow also how the limbs feel and my gaps,, forgiveness ECT. 😊

Nice bow!!! You can shoot any bow good Paul!!! I would like you to shoot a cheap black hunter longbows . I really like my black hunter longbows with one quarter inch elevated rest with leather and a 1/16 ths side plate. This makes the bow shoot great.

@jblanla7 ай бұрын
At what GPP or FOC% have you found this to be true?
@pitbullman41117 ай бұрын
It's dependant on the overall draw weight. The heavier the bow the heavier the arrow you can shoot and get a flat shooting setup.
