My favourite eras for Sonic are the Genesis era and the Dreamcast era (generic I know) but the Saturn era is a close 3rd place, something about it is so charming. Here’s a fun fact as well. If you are playing the Dreamcast version (or the PC version with mods to restore the Dreamcast models) you can see classic models for Sonic and Tails in the Tornado sections. They look like they came right out of the Saturn era, and they are assumed to be leftovers from the initial version of the game. Good video, and nice to see the mod has some new additions as last time I saw it the only stage that was retextured was Emerald Coast.
