Excellent rundown Dave on some great survival firearm options. Those 2 Savage over unders look pretty nice and not on the original or lastest OIC. The pistols unfortunately, we are not so lucky on which is a real shame. I really like that Ruger Mark IV. Nate

Interesting! The smoke generator worked so well! Good job Amanda! And a ruffed grouse with a snare pole! I've caught a number of spruce grouse this way but never a ruffed.

Looks like Amanda did a great job. That tree well shelter was nice and it also looks like Maple took a shine to her as well. Looks like an awesome course to take. Nate

Amanda seemed so comfortable in the bush and confident,, no doubt due to the quality training she is receiving,, and she snared a Ruffed Grouse! Spruce Grouse yes,, but Ruffies are so much more skitttish,, Great video!

I’ve been making rose hip extract for decades, which can be kept in the fridge for years,, and am never without wild roses, which are hardy and easy to grow, though tricky to transplant. I never knew the seeds could damage the gut, though I’ve never had a problem with it. Thanks for the info! Thirty years ago, when I got into prepping seriously and was looking for a small acreage site, I determined to use big clumps or patches of wild rose and rasp- and blackberries as subtle fences and.blockades to prevent looters and hunters from ravaging my animals and endangering me and the property. Also small ponds, all to deflect traffic around my property without being obvious. I’m too old now to use the info, but perhaps others could use it.

Thank you for commenting on the video. I thought about using the prickly plants for the same reason and have used them on a smaller scale when teaching evasion techniques with the Canadian airforce survival school. Works for dogs and people! I bet you cooked all your rose hips, but the raw seeds will give you itchy bum. Although it's not life threatening, it sure is uncomfortable! Thanks again for your input, it's much appreciated.
