Sir how did you get 18xu² in the example of chain rule 🥲
@flenoxjambtutorials1832
@flenoxjambtutorials1832 8 ай бұрын
Hi Ibukun. I got that by multiplying 3u^3 times 6x. That is : 3u^3 * 6x = (6*3) * u^3 * x = 18 * u^3 *x = 18xu^3. I hope that is clear and do let me know if you have any other questions.

Hi Abraham, You are correct. Thank you for pointing it out. There are three ways in which he can pass 2 of the 3 Physics tests. This can be PPF, or PFP, or FPP (where P = pass and F = Fail | and the or means that we need to add the probabilities for the three possible scenarios). I only solved for PPF which is 4/27. Following the same logic, PFP will also be 4/27 and FPP will also be 4/27. So, I need to sum them up: so 4/27 + 4/27 + 4/27 = 4/9 (A) Thanks again.

Am confused. The second example when you got to the point where you said X¹+⅓ =x⁴/³, how did you get that.
@flenoxjambtutorials1832
@flenoxjambtutorials1832 9 ай бұрын
Hi Omolayo, here's the explanation: 1 + 1/3. Now, 1 can be written as 3/3 because 3 divided by 3 is one. So we can rewrite the expression as 3/3 + 1/3. Since the denominators are now the same, we can just add the numerators. So it becomes (3+1)/3 and that = 4/3. I hope this is clear. And do let me know if you need further clarifications.

But sir in the first question why do you have to multiply both side by 12
@flenoxjambtutorials1832
@flenoxjambtutorials1832 9 ай бұрын
Hi. I multiplied both sides by 12 as a way to get rid of the denominators. So on the left hand side of the equation, by multiplying by 12, you have 12/6, which is 2. And on the right hand side, by multiplying by 12, you have 12/12 which is 1. You don't have to do it that way. You could also choose, for example, to cross-multiply at that stage. Trying simplifying it in the way you're most comfortable with to see if you arrive at the same answer. if you do, then there's no problem. Do let me know if you have any other question.

I did not understand the number question sir
@flenoxjambtutorials1832
@flenoxjambtutorials1832 10 ай бұрын
I assume you're referring to the number base question (question 2). There are multiple ways to solve it. One approach is to multiple 101(base 2) by itself three times .The second approach is to first convert the 101(base 2) to base 10. Doing so allows you to find the cube like you normally would then you can convert the result back to base 2. I have followed the second approach in this solution. For a better understanding of number base, I'll recommend you want my full series on Number Base where I explain what it's all about. Here's the link to the video series: kzbin.info/aero/PLX8yzm0wZjoY5IGjG-0cugG7DPi7jVSZ6&si=3slqI_IzCqjAV7EH

@flenoxjambtutorials1832
@flenoxjambtutorials1832 Жыл бұрын
Hi. So you know that the cubic root means "the number can I multiply by itself 3 times to get the original number. So, the cubic root of 64 is 4 because (4 x 4 x 4 = 64). Also the cubic root of a^3 is a because (a x a x a = a^3). So, the cubic root of 64a^3 = 4a. Now, from the law of indices, anything raised to the power of -1 is 1 divided by that number. For example, x^-1 = 1/x So, (4a)^-1 = 1/4a So, the correct option is C. I hope this helps and do let me know if you have any other question.
