Philip your better than that, reinvent yourself again, you sing, dance, host TV shows and many of the public still love you man, we all mess-up time and time again, so your no stranger on that account believe me mate. Philip you've got loads of talent; you were great in Joeseph and his multi coloured coat, yes it was a few years ago so what when you've got it you've got it consider Al Jolson inactive for a few years, yet when he came back, he was bigger than he had ever been. Yes, I'm a big Jolly fan I grew up with Jolly blasting out of our old record player most days happy childhood times for me then in the early 1960's as a kid. I hear your pain, in your You-Tube podcast, let go of your rage, hate takes us all down man, you have so much potential, there's greatness in you my friend, what is it they say? Don't let the ******ds grind you down! Go back to what worked, theatre, TV, You-Tube podcasts, walk away from those that take pleasure in hurting you, that's their problems, your too talented to let these troubled individuals mess with you. Drugs and alcohol are addictive, if your taken them stop by saying and meaning 'NO MORE' I'm sure your childhood was pretty cool without alcohol and drugs, adjustment like the steering wheel of your car, it takes courage to clean yourself up, if it was so easy we'd all be doing it right! Life is hard, there'll always be someone who dislikes you, isn't that the truth, live with self-improvement in mind, life is series of challenges, everyone is weak, in one-way or another there is only fleeting moments of clarity in life for us all. Philip I'm not one of those religious bible bashers, but I've learned how to adjust my life to heartache and deception, if you've got someone close maybe they can help you to adapt and change, where you yourself know you need to go, you have a great screen persona, I hope your life can adjust, and your theatrical agent gets you some work. @@GracefulDanny A picture & a video that is all there is A group photo when Matthew was 15 & one lunch after he had visited the ITV studios when Matthew was 18 Having lunch I might add is not a crime nor is one group photo any indication of grooming They have found no evidence of grooming Philip made one mistake & that was to engage in the relationship with Matthew the relationship started when Matthew was 20 years old at this time you are no longer classed as a child. Philip should have know better but people do fall for people of different ages. Young women fancy older men & visa versa I suspect gay relationships are the same look at Stephen Fry he is with a much younger man. This relationship was consensual from the outset no one forced anything on to Matthew he had a voice & anytime whilst working there could have spoken up but he chose not to, each protected one another. Philip is not a nonce he is not a paedophile or a predator & the recent NDA does not protect you from prosecution if criminality is suspected that is fact it just draws a line under the matter keeps it private between the two so they can both move forward with their lives

I feel sorry for both of them. For Matt he got in over his head getting romantically involved with his pier. There was no way it could end well for Matt he was too young and lacked professional experience. Phil should not have taken advantage of Matt in that way whether he fancied him or not. However, once things changed between them they both became vulnerable. Phil had the upper hand, the professional background that helped Matt move up the career ladder. But look how Phil has now lost his job and social status. Both have suffered. Matt had less to lose professionally than Phil, but perhaps Matt was more emotionally vulnerable during and after the affair. I sincerely hope they both learn a lesson from their actions. It does take two to tango at the end of the day. Matt was of legal age and could have said no this is not a good idea.

@@tommyclegget3335 He was not mentoring him at all from when he was 11 they didnt not meet until Matthew was 15 he knew of him at a younger age because I think he visited Matthews school but there was very little contact between them Their relationship started when Matthew was 20 years old two consenting adults that is it a video online of them having lunch & this is all it was & one group photo of the two of them does not equate to grooming

I’m guessing you’re not a 20 yr old male, and have never got emotionally involved with someone you probably shouldn’t have. I’m actually laughing at the thought of 2 people in that situation, saying “oh no, this is not a good idea” 😂. No-one seems to be questioning the motives of the 20 yr old male who was clearly trying to get ahead by attaching himself to Schofield (who was not his peer, he was senior to him).
