I just put this dish in the oven. I made a few modifications. Added asparagus tips, grape tomatoes, and a little Alfredo sauce instead of cream. Thanks for the recipe, it was delicious!

How long do these store in the fridge for once opened? Do these stay fresh for a month or just a week after opening? Do they need to be refrigerated if unopened?

Never ever use apple seeds which contain small amount of cyanide
@donaldpreston37423 ай бұрын
Lol the amount of cyanide from 2 apples is not that harmful especially when you cook it to high temperature

I went digging for a braised chicken and potato recipe for like half an hour before finding this, perfect blend of interesting ingredients I had on hand. My husband and I just finished devouring a heaping plate each!!! So luscious, just herbal and bright enough to keep it from being overly rich, I’m in love!!!!

Subscribed your channel. One thing can we use pectin available in the market?
@albernal6653 Жыл бұрын
I've watched 6 or 7 of these because I have a surplus of mangos. This is the best one! As the cooking heats up the house (tropical area good for mangos), I want to know if I can use a micro wave to sterilize the jars. The oven makes my AC work too hard. Any ideas?

Your dish looks incredible, I will have to try it. That being said, 14 ingredients does not qualify as "very few ingredients" lol. Also, I count 13 potato halves in the pan. Did you inadvertently drop one piece on the floor during prep? 🙂 Thanks for sharing.

because the pectin is in the skin, why not use the mango skin?

Which ingredients can I use instead of honey,mustard and heavy cream??because I don't have these at home.
@RimasCulinaryAdventures2 жыл бұрын
Hello, thanks for reaching out! I would use a bit of sugar instead of honey and use any herbs of your choice and lemon zest to replace honey and mustard. While the flavour will be different, it will still be delicious. You can use single cream instead of double or heavy cream or even any leftover crème fraîche or sour cream if you would like. Again the flavours and textures will change slightly but as long as your dish is well seasoned to your taste, it will still turn out lovely in my opinion.

Amazing! I'll give it a try. I think this is more delicious compared to the ready-made jam at the supermarket. But one question, what if I don't use the skin of the lemon, will the jam still have a great taste? Because the skin layer taste bitter right? I will really appreciate if I get the answer. Thanks in advance ❤
@RimasCulinaryAdventures3 жыл бұрын
Hey Nur, you can absolutely make it without the skin of the lemon. You jam will set perfectly with pure apple pectin. I would personally add a bit of lemon juice because it will brighten the taste and flavour of the fruits but definitely feel free to discard the peel.

Hi Rima, won't condensed milk & white chocolate make these truffles overly sweet.
@RimasCulinaryAdventures3 жыл бұрын
Hi Riddhima, you are right; this definitely is a sweet treat and generally will be found more enjoyable by people who like sweet things. But there are a few aspects of the recipe that make these truffles go beyond that one dimensional sweet note. Firstly, the coconut adds that rich buttery tropical flavour that cuts through the sweetness and adds depth.Secondly the pinch of salt also balances out the flavours immensely. That said, I do believe that the recipe should also work if you omit the white chocolate completely. I would follow the procedure of thickening the condensed milk, and adding the salt. Then I would start with 2/3rd of the coconut and add more gradually as needed until it comes together into the 'dough' as in the video. Needless to say that it will not have that white chocolate flavour but it should still be absolutely delicious.
