Do you know any reputable website from which I can get populations' data? Because I am really struggling to find data. Thank you.
@MissSarahTallon10 күн бұрын
@HassanIbrahim-k6l It depends what population data you are looking for. For Ireland the CSO has our census data and would be very accurate. There will be equivalent websites for other countries. Animal populations are a little more challenging as keeping track of animals in the wild is very challenging. However, there are some good studies out there that have recorded the population. Published papers on populations are a really good place to start. I hope this helps!

do you think you could make a video specifically on this years project brief, how you would approach the maths e.g. using differential or difference equations
@MissSarahTallon13 күн бұрын
A new video is now live that goes through a possible way to approach the first iteration kzbin.info/www/bejne/j4euh3aOpLWmn5Y. Also it is worth checking out this question as it shows modelling using Differential Equations extremely well - (Leaving Certificate Higher Level Applied Maths | 2023 Deferred Q4) kzbin.info/www/bejne/en20mnSEoNuAsJo. hello, I'm considering studying applied maths for my leaving cert and sitting it as i am quite bad at english. I'm pretty good at maths but i dont do physics so all of this seems very foreign to me, which video of yours would you say i should start with for applied maths
@MissSarahTallon2 ай бұрын
@rayaan2172 It is a great subject to study. We now have a coursework element that needs to be signed off by a teacher, so you may not be able to do it all by yourself. The new Applied Maths course has less of a focus on Physics, but for the elements that overlap not having physics is not an issue. Applied Maths helps with Physics more than Physics helps with Applied Maths. The first topic I teach my 5th Years is Uniform Acceleration. There is a full playlist up on my channel covering this topic. This is the best video to start with kzbin.info/www/bejne/hImYanqBrtSArrcsi=-ndZFNC3IazcIedG. Good Luck with it!

Since the minimum value of e^x will be 1 when x = 0. So, e^x + 2 = 3. Does'nt that mean the range of f is (3, infinity)?
@Candidate-100509 күн бұрын
No because if you look at the graph you can see that there are values used that are less than 3 so the range cant start at 3

When you are dealing with the obliques only the i or j will change. It depends on their lines of centres. If their centres are along the i axis (think they are side by side, left and right) then the i changes, the j stays the same. If their centres are along the j axis (think one on top of the other) the j changes and the i stays the same. I hope this helps!

Hi, thank you so much for the really helpful videos. At 16:52 i dont undedrstand why n=26, i understand that technically there are 26 terms but i thought only 25 years are getting the interest? Thanks again for the videos.
@MissSarahTallon8 ай бұрын
This question was tough, in particular the reading of it. There are 25 subsequent years (after the first year) so 26 years in total, all of which get interest. The increase only happens from year 2 onwards, but this of this as each year is increased on the previous year, which is why we still use 26. I hope this makes sense!
