why the y components remain same i mean usinalpha
@MissSarahTallon5 ай бұрын
When you are dealing with the obliques only the i or j will change. It depends on their lines of centres. If their centres are along the i axis (think they are side by side, left and right) then the i changes, the j stays the same. If their centres are along the j axis (think one on top of the other) the j changes and the i stays the same. I hope this helps!

Hi, thank you so much for the really helpful videos. At 16:52 i dont undedrstand why n=26, i understand that technically there are 26 terms but i thought only 25 years are getting the interest? Thanks again for the videos.
@MissSarahTallon5 ай бұрын
This question was tough, in particular the reading of it. There are 25 subsequent years (after the first year) so 26 years in total, all of which get interest. The increase only happens from year 2 onwards, but this of this as each year is increased on the previous year, which is why we still use 26. I hope this makes sense!

27:26 How do you know y starts at 0?
@MissSarahTallon8 ай бұрын
If you look at the diagram given in the question, the first movement is along the x axis, from the origin. The start is (0, 0) and then the second point is (4, 0). Both have y = 0 so there is no change in the y direction. Does this help?

at 22:59 i believe you made an error. you had 48 mg when it should have been -48mg because +24mg was brought over the equals sign and the other term was -24mg, so -24mg-24mg=-48mg
