i used to get undermined a lot in life by people who tried to make me feel i was not going to be good enough to be able to do what i wanted, or to date the women i liked.. years later i found out they had actually been bitter and jealous that i WAS so capable of being able to build up the life i hoped to, and that those women had actually really liked me (i found that out years later from one of the women).. the people who had been harsh on me had just wanted to destroy my belief could build up that life, so that i would not even TRY, out of pure bitter jealousy..
