JSUs arrangement of "Quickie" was quite powerful, however it projected so cluttered with parts coming out of everywhere... Parts were all over the place, the melody got lost in all of the parts of instrumentation... No doubt, JSU did bring an unique and haunting rendition/arrangement.

man I played first chair for snare poets 87 -88 I think we had a small band under the direction of Mr. Strieber .. he cared about us allot but due to the leaving of Mr. Pettway we didn't have too many members joined those years .. we did attend competitions and I personally attended all state and received several scholarships for band ..I'd like to know if there's any footage from any of those years .. please let me know if anyone can help .. that would be tight...
