3:01 This is probably one of the only videos I’ve found of the exploding shack on Ripsaw Falls working 100%. Usually some aspect of the effect is broken or the entire thing, but this is likely one of the only times where it and the exploding dock were fully in operation.

Wow...sorry to say this classic hasn't aged well. As a current Forest Ranger, my coworkers and I see how desperately this attraction needs maintenance and a referb. Botanicus in the queue sounds muffled and muddy, the animatronics do not move so freely, and Goodbyes E.T. is completely frozen! Still incredible to see this wonderful ride in its prime! Glad this was posted on our Forest Ranger FB group!

I used to hear Kissimmee was so nice back in the day and now it's a dump. Everyone says why the heck did you move there, it's the sewer of Orlando! I never went past Old Town as a kid so that's all I ever knew. I never even knew about this place, just went to Typhoon Lagoon each time we came down to this part of Florida. At least they have the new water park on the other side of Disney at the Jimmy Buffet place.

WOW This brings back memories when we lived in Kissimmee LOVED this place it was so nice for families. We were even there and an added bonus a concert by the Allman Brothers in front of the wave pool. Thanks for the happy memory.
