Well of course we all know there ain't nothing like the Grateful Dead that last comment Hendrix Clapton yeah great. Fleetwood Mac unbelievable loved it come on back then. We may all have our favorites, however it's unfair to compare Jerry Garcia call Jeff Beck, go on others call a Django Reinhardt. They are not to be compared, play stand on their own

I came home from my job working at a gas station all day. Ate dinner and went into my bedroom to lay down and listen to The King Biscuit Flower Hour (live recordings of bands) on KSAN radio. The dj was Richard Gosset and I’m sure he was on acid (ha ha). This song came on and I layed down on my bed and completely “drifted away”! This song just takes me on a ‘Magic Carpet Ride” with the Blues!

I believe it was this line-up including Christine on her first tour that we saw open for Credence. 54-years later that show still stands out; both bands in top, really tight form, and this before the age of sound reinforcement as pioneered by Owsley and the Dead...

I wonder if this is just a different mix to the Album (Then Ride On) because if not it is amazingly accurate to the original Album, that they both had this clearly in their memory to recite over is astonishing, all the same nuances are there. Loved Peter and Fleetwood Mac

Totally can hear the Allman/Dead influence as Jerry, Duane, and Peter all played mountain jam in its initial inception. Gorgeous stuff

Don't ever listen to Fleetwood Mac during the Bob Welch days. It will make you cringe. Bob and Christie were so jealous of Danny Kirwan that he felt out of place, and they pushed him out. Shame on Mick and John for letting this happen. R.I.P Peter Greenbalm and Danny Kirwan...

Actually Danny had a huge drinking problem, and refused to go on stage on a West Coast trip in 1971 with and they fired him.

It's another example of what an improvisation is and Danny Kirwen pushed the band in a direction that is very different from what people usually label PGFM of.Danny and Peter had a chemistry like no other and the rhythm section is as solid as can be which gave them the foundation to explore. I've listened to it like a thousand times.
