I remember this game!!!! Played the demo when I was young. I cant find any cracked full copies (and I don't use Steam anymore) so I just did the tutorial level. Game demo can still be downloaded on the Trials2SE website. Game's graphics and lighting are awesome for its time, I wonder what engine was used to create it?

Dude getting save locked here sucks so bad on expert at this point if i play on expert i take the assault loadout for the sniper attachment and extra wall mines

Post edit: The audio was deleted for some reason. My apologies. There is no music anyways and after awhile the bike sounds start to get annoying. again dont know why after uploading that the audio was not present

I'm playing the version you can get on the Internet Archive called "Gears Of War - Preinstalled w/ Mods and w/o GFWL" however, the FPS uncap option does not seem to work. When I follow the PCGamingWiki guide and set up an autoexec, it simply puts the game into an infinite loading cycle. Typing the console command "set Engine.GameEngine bSmoothFrameRate FALSE" also seems to do nothing in game, the FPS stays locked at 62 Do you happen to have any idea what's going on? I'm very confused as to why it would not work at all with that version.

you should definitely watch some ShyWay videos on youtube for more aim & map positioning tips, he’s really good at simplifying things for people and i honestly think it would help you a lot

after 2 minutes of watching your awareness is lacking look at where your teammates are and put yourself in a position where you can help them, also take off screen shake or whatever is making your character rock like that and the sprint lines, you need to pay attention more to call outs, there’s a play where you’re all sitting top gold and you go down gold stairs instead of sticking with the ball and when your teammate dies, you shouldn’t go down the stairs you should stay up top with ball and rotate through gold if you need to, don’t go into batteries unless you really just want to die, if you have ball and teammates are spawning close juggle the ball that way, if you’re getting split spawns drop the ball and slay out, you can also change your offsets for your guns that’ll help with your visuals. since your sens is very slow you’re having to fight it and it’s making you lose gun fights and melee fights.. try a different sensitivity - you can still have a slower x and y but the acceleration needs to be higher so you can somewhat turn, also you should probably learn how to curb slide and maybe make a strafe with some crouches but focus on your aim before you do that

for some reason the command to uncap the frame rate only works in the main menu but then if you try to load a saved game it gets stuck in a infinite loading screen... the comand to show the fps "STAT FPS" works but not the "set Engine.GameEngine bSmoothFrameRate FALSE" while in game, i don't know what to do now
