You can land on planets in US2, but it doesn't look as good as Space Engine. If you press C on an object, you are able to land on the object. 👍

Of course! You multiplied the rotation by ~86,000! Even a rotation ~20 times of the one now, would make it so you become weightless!

take a ball, it rotates at a speed make te ball spin 86k times faster centrifugal forces will tear it apart after that, he just slowed the simulation down so you could see something

It wouldn't matter. Without a magnetic field, the atmosphere would blow away as fast as you create it. And there's still not enough water to make it anything but a mostly desert planet. Finally...it's not worth it. Mars is still in the same star system, which means it doesn't make humanity any safer. Spreading out to keep all our eggs out of the same basket only works if we get hundreds of worlds...hundreds of light-years apart. Anything less is like buying just one number on one lottery ticket. It's especially so, since Mars has no worthwhile resources of any sort. It's barely even all that good for anything but the most mundane and trivial geology and maybe climatology, as far as science goes.

you actually CAN influence the atmosphere composition externally, via launching customized asteroids (that you could save) at the planet over the whole surface so that the materials will setlle across the whole planet almost equally
