Wow!!!! For those who abuse pick and roll, this defensive mechanic really allows the defender to play defensive chess just like the offensive does!!!!! GREAT EQUALIZER!!!! Played someone who used 5 out and made the PF or Center switch to SG or PG or SF off of what looked like a user switch

Yeah, it opens up so many avenues as well for things like on the fly matchup adjustments, helping transition D, picking up a hot player with your best defender, picking and choosing which defenders you want to defend certain actions, etc. It definitely feels like an upgrade from playing checkers to chess once you get the hang of it.

Any tips on stopping the cpu from mixing up the matches For example if I put my SF to guard my PG, after a substitution it’ll randomly make my C guard my SG or vise versa. Also can’t switch defense (shrink floor,no 3’s etc.) unless at a timeout

I've ran into these situations a couple of times as well. I think it all starts whenever you use the "On The Fly" matchup adjustments menu (where you hit LB+Player Icon and select who you want them to guard). It will put your selection on the right guy, but in the process it overrides any kind of settings you have put in the defensive settings. So for now, I am generally trying to make my matchup adjustments for assigned matchups either in the timeout menu or the pause menu. If I find myself playing a game and the matchups are messed up, I'm using these methods I describe in the video to tweak it on the fly every possessions if I don't feel like calling a timeout or pausing to interrupt the flow of the game. can you go into depth on catch and shooting with rhythm shooting. ive found there is a delay when catching and bringing up the ball to shoot (with stick/rhythm shooting) in comparison to using the button only.

Do not hold your stick down before you catch the ball. Go in my court or anywhere you can call for ball/have your boy pass to you. And see what happens when you hold the right stick down before you catch the ball. Every time there is a delay, that’s why you get it

Yeah, it's an issue right now. I think I heard them say it was a known issue somewhere (I think in their Discord), so I'm not going to worry about it too much right now and just hope it gets fixed in that patch we're getting this week. As of now, I just try to be aware that their may be a small delay when I shoot out of that kind of situation and need to adjust if I wanna use a rhythm shot.

I tweaked it a bit to get the border where I wanted it and changed a few things like toggle keybinds around. Looks like he may have released a newer version since I downloaded it.
