ADDENDUM: Well, not every official popple plush had a pouch. The 'bank' popples (Packy, Penny and Plucky) didn't have pouches, and neither did their (very rare) non-bank variants. Granted, the latter was never sold at retail stores, though they could be found at toy fairs. These LOOK like imposter popples, but they're quite real.

Popple fancier, pencil collector and cartooner here. ...There are popple people who make their own popples (called 'fakies') for themselves. It's not really 'popple poaching' unless the maker is trying to sell them as the real deal. Given your German popple doesn't seem to have a tag or a patch (and that you've not seen another like it), I'd presume someone's mom made it. ^^ I'm actually looking to have some popple Christmas ornaments made for me, in the colors of my popple OCs. I found such an ornament on eBay (of Potato Chip) that's an obvious fakie, but the seller wants far too much for it, its maker is dead, and I've been unable to find the pattern that was used to make it (I'd hoped it was a Butterick thing, but it's not). lol I'm a man in his 40s; I have a Pikachu backpack I wear everywhere (all the outward attention it's received has been positive). Of course, being a Millennial, I guess that's easy to get away with. ^^ I was able to correctly guess all your bootlegs, and I am much aware of the 2010s JPN Popples Store. That bag came with a mechanical pencil, which I found on eBay not long ago. I passed on it because it didn't have a copyright date and I don't trust Sony Creative Products (the maker). There were wooden popples pencils made for American Greetings in the 1980s, by Empire Pencil Co. Those are SUPREMELY rare (if you have one, shoot me a DM).

She’s still missing :( but I’m not giving up on her. I’ve heard stories of people finding their snakes after months of being gone, and she’s pretty smart (which is how she got out), so I have hope. Please send her your love, though
