Trying to figure out the drumming. How many pedals are you using to get a snare and a bass

I like your song, well done. Very thick sound too, I’m definitely gonna steal a couple of your ideas. Your vocals make me think of Mark Knopffler a bit. I’ve gone through a few of the Ortegas and I’m not a fan. I am a drummer and guitar player and I just have never gotten comfortable with the responsiveness of them (I am asking a lot more of them than you are, granted) and I have not found them durable (I shouldn’t pull it out of an airplane overhead to find the wood cracked clear through the frame from someone else stuffing a carryon in after when It was inside my carryon suitcase), and I’ve not found the company to be responsive in general either. I’m leaning pretty heavily toward the farmer foot drum (yeah, when I win the freakin lottery! They about the cost of your whole setup) Anyway, thanks for sharing.

Thanks about the song and voice. About Ortega I m all agreed, but if you have seen my other videos I m using now Roland spd x3 a huge improvement.

That's really great. How are you triggering the vocal harmonies for just the chorus?
@denizhonores3 ай бұрын
One Mic for lead vocal, the second mic is connected to the helicon, so I don’t need to switch with feet, just move my head to the left ;-)

Which snare sound are you using? Have you tuned it? Sounds great - good job!
@denizhonores3 ай бұрын
That s the snare preset from the Roland spd (white one), tuning is on 12, so neutral, I may have work a bit on the EQ in logic not sure.

I saw you used Ortega quantumloop in your earlier videos - what made you change to the Roland ones? I too have a quantumloop at the moment and am looking for something battery-powered....
@denizhonores3 ай бұрын
The electronic is very sensible in the Ortega, I had to return it twice. Then when I ce tried the first Roland I was convinced on all matters, sound ergonomic endurance… I bought 3
