Thanks, Rick, for filming our performance and for the beautiful editing. I know that takes time. And a special thanks to Karen, for her direction, effort, patience, encouragement and belief that we could do this (although she may have had her doubts at times). It was great working with everyone. There’s a void on Tuesday nights now.

Rick - the blue light is for synchronization between receiver and transmitter. The battery indicator is a red light to the right of the blue light.

Excellent review on the Phenyx Pro, Rick. I enjoyed your overall thoughts and thorough testing in different scenarios. The product comparisons were very fair and educational. Thank you!

Here is the link to last week's Conversations where we take a look (and listen) at Mike's replica of the rare 1936 Gibson A. J. kzbin.info/www/bejne/i57Oqnuoh8SZo5I&si=EnSIkaIECMiOmarE

Does he finish the guitar with the neck already glued in, and the bridge already glued on?
@ramaxson Жыл бұрын
Hi Tommy, insightful questions. Yes, if the neck is dovetailed but no if it is bolt on. As for the bridge, he applies the finish first then scrapes the bridge location to bare wood before installing. He would add, “you better have the hands of a surgeon to prep the bridge spot before gluing. Thanks for your interest.

Oh so nice to see Rick again!! Was wondering about your videos a few days ago actually! Will share this with my guitar playing son and am certainly looking forward to the ukulele video... So nice to know of a close by master luthier. That guitar is gorgeous as is the rich wide sound! Than you both!!

So nice to hear from you. Yes, it has been awhile. I put most of my music videos on another KZbin channel: Uke 66. :-)

Hello Eric. You made my day. I'm not sure how you stumbled across this video either. I'm not very systematic about my KZbin videos. If you enjoy 'ukulele, please check out (and Like) our Facebook page @Uke66. Best wishes and press on to more good things.

Way to go Dad! I learned to yodel for one particular song some years ago... So I wouldn't say that I actually know how to yodel, but I know how to go for that song... I'm as impressed with that as I am with your digital skills!

Starting at 1:57 sound does not match video. Pre-recorded?

Hi Tom, thanks for the note. I love that song; especially the chords. No, that was a single shot into my MacBook using an older version of iMovie (I think). It was a long time ago. I can't explain the glitch at the end but, at the time, thought it was harmless and maybe even an interesting effect. IDK. It happened on a couple of other videos but went away when I replaced my MacBook. 🙂
