Three hours after my last meal, I start thinking about, preparing my next meal… I may not feel hungry, but once the food is in front of me, I will eat with a good appetite. If you increase your exercise, make sure to eat more food… if I go out for a bike ride in nature, I always have some food in my backpack like maybe a protein bar or even a sandwich, etc. .. Something savoury and something sweet covers my bases, depending on what I feel like eating.

This story might have been believable if Bauman hadn't lost BOTH limbs previously in an I.E.D. explosion while in Afghanistan BEFORE the 2013 marathon.

When I was 18 I went to doctor because I haven’t been in a long time so when I went, I told him that I have hypoglycemia and they wouldn’t believe me and they said I didn’t have anymore but now I am 23 years old. I’m starting to have pain in my legs in my arm and I had that when I was a kid, when my sugar was low, my legs and my arms will hurt. And this is why I am watching this video because I feel like I’m not taking care of myself and I’m starting to get the pains again.

Below is what the BMC is really about. . . woke as f*ck! Any person in the Boston area with two working brains cells should avoid the BMC like the plague "Statement of Values The Section of General Internal Medicine and the Department of Medicine believe that the cultural and social diversity of our faculty, staff and students is vitally important to the distinction and excellence of our clinical, research and academic programs. We embrace a position of anti-racism and inclusivity. We believe that faculty diversity is essential to our delivery of care and is an integral component of faculty excellence, and we are committed to fostering an environment that is supportive and respectful. Diversity is multidimensional and may encompass life experience, gender, sexual orientation, race, national origin, ethnicity, physical ability, spiritual beliefs, and intellectual approach. As we engage and are challenged by one another, diverse perspectives will enhance the quality of intellectual exchange and the creation of knowledge. All faculty, staff, trainees, and students deserve to feel respected and valued for who they are and for the values they hold. The Boston University Medical Group is committed to sex/gender and racial equity in faculty recruitment, compensation, promotion, leadership, and retention. Our ultimate aim is to build a cohort of leaders throughout BMC/BUCASM that reflects the racial, ethnic, and sex/gender diversity/composition of our overall faculty."

I feel so bad for Jeff Bauman and his story and what he had to go through , but I am glad he is able to walk and accomplish things that would be impossible for him without legs. If anyone hasn’t seen Stronger (2017) with Jake Gyllenhaal as Jeff Bauman I highly recommend it if you are watching this video.

I'm hypoglycemic and it's honestly so annoying. I'm not diabetic or anything I just have low blood pressure and sugar, or to high. So I pass out/faint. On a regular basis, probably 3 times a month. I'm on a pill to prevent it from my doctor. So yea, doing all I can
