The shameful thing is people grow complacent. They forget about their past for example, the guy that played general who insisted it to Bradley was OK. See these people are getting payoffs and our boys are getting slaughtered and when I don’t get slaughtered and get out of the military, they don’t get live the life of luxury they gotta do things like get a job anyway some of those same horrible procedures are going on this day and I guess they always will. It has become much worse these days. I know of veterans who got sick from burn pits in Iraq and Afghanistan - it turns out the Military brass knew that it was dangerous and toxic all along but said nothing. Now the Veterans are fighting with the V.A to prove that the cancer they have was caused by the burnpits.

this is almost total fiction. the bradley is an amazing vehicle and a lot of the "problems" mentioned in the movie are non-issues or fiction.

This movie wasn’t silly number one. It should’ve never been deemed a comedy because we have shit like this going on all the time and the people high Dollar generals they’re not the ones getting their skin burn off their body, arms, and legs torn off. It’s the guy and the women were suffering because of their desire to have a nicer lifestyle by taking payoffs

This type of collage technique was not only overly expensive, but exhausting. The opening 10 minutes is like a facial compilation, but made much worse by a Spielberg splatfest and badly Fairlight-composed soundtrack. No wonder I was drunk this entire decade.

The Bradley was a victim of “Feature Creep”. This is common in the software world. There is no such thing as a high tech Swiss Army Knife. Keep it simple stupid!

Well this movie is mostly fiction and the Bradley is actually a great vehicle so everything works out! Only real theme in this movie that rings true (obviously) is the idea of ego and pride getting in the way of whats important for a nation.
