@@samira_skylarbellydance9403 if it’s a bit small you would have to add about two to three stiches when you start a new one .. just for the base sides

I was making one for me and my husband and it did not fit us, especially my husband,I’m gonna have to give it to someone else that has a smaller head,I just know I used bernat baby blanket yarn. And I followed the pattern correctly

I already made two of these, perfect fit for my head and very quickly ! Faster than skein yarn which takes 4 HOURS! so far the best chunky bucket hat

Omg I literally hate making these hats because of the time it takes to make. The ruffles by itself took 6 hours to do because you gotta do 3 double crochets into each stitch, and that's over 100 double crochets. If you have the time and the patience, then you can do it, but if you're like me, I suggest you don't do it

It may be the yarn you use. I used yarn that was a little chunkier and it came out large, so I modified as needed. The pattern is still good! I just did one less row when making the crown of the hat so that mine came out the same size as hers :)
