Fuck the "Rock"...anybody who refers to himself as "the rock" ij 3rd person, is a douche, and i knew it way before the hawaiian fire situation.

As usual, Patrice is totally wrong. Seagal was shit. His movies were shit. He had a handful of generic, dogshit action movies that made some money, but they were terrible. To say he wasn't done until 2003 is a laughable delusion. As I said in another post, the first Under Siege was pretty good. The rest of his career is covered in flies.

"Don't look at me like I'm a movie star." Reply 1: Done and done. Reply 2: Okay. Reply 3: No problem. Reply 4: Don't worry. Reply 5: Oooh. That's gonna be tough. Harrison Ford, Brad Pitt, Al Pacino, Leonardo DiCaprio, Daniel Day Lewis, Jack Nicholson, Ryan Gosling.......... Steven Seagal.

As soon as Barry Williams starts going, "Whooaa-whooooaaaaa listen to the muuuusic...." I just start dying. It's not even that he is the saddest part about it. It's that you know there's a bunch of rubes there in their 80s who had dreams of their husband one day taking them to Paris or something and this was as good as it gets for them. The sadness and hilarity feed off each other in this amazing recursive fashion.

The days off weren’t part of his contract or factored into his salary as some comments are stating. Like Sam explained, while at XM the staff was casually given paid days off whenever the show was off without those days being counted. When the companies merged, HR followed normal policy of actually requesting time off. In reality, they were probably given wayyy more days off than the number of vacation days they actually had over the years… I’d shut my mouth and make use of the bonus time off here and there instead of throwing up red flags so that HR notices and does the math. Somehow, all his subordinates, who were in the exact same position, grasped what was going on. They were less important than the EP and yet they knew how to play things. The way Steve lied and talked in circles and changed his story and backpedaled had to be SO infuriating. Then he had the nerve to snitch to Opie in an email. (I am pretty sure he had done something similar before to get people in trouble, which is what they were alluding to.) First he says he was taking Mondays off “in lieu of a honeymoon because the show came first.” His email says it’s because his wife was away half the week. Ant mentioned the Bahamas and suddenly it’s “I never thought you’d allow me to take a week off.” 🙄 Then with the banned guest, they had already been discussing “him” for 10 minutes. And how “he” wasn’t coming in. And “his” appearance was an issue. Suddenly, when the spotlight is on Steve to explain why he didn’t tell the staff not to replay audio, he puts on the theatrics: “I was told this guy- _grrr_ I shouldn’t even say that!” ???? We knew it was a guy the whole time!!! It’s so manipulative. No one despises Opie and Danny more than me, so for me to side with either of those f*cks you know it has to be bad. 😆 And so forth and so on.

this is unironically where jim norton has value. he found his antithesis, aka a guy who keeps 1000 walls up because of various things, the way jimmy pulls down 1000 walls that anormal person would keep up. and this paradox, norton attempts to deconstruct here but intern josh is just way too scared as useless as opie is, here he has this ironic turn where he empathizes with a talentless hack who has trouble with girls and "engineered" his way onto the show. 57:25 danny discusses how the team warned josh he'd get shit on, and josh still went out of his way to effort a transfer because he knew this was the best show to move up on
