Beckett shouldn't have let Vaughn get that close to her in the first place. If anyone had commitment issues in the Caskett relationship, it was definitely Beckett💯💯. She didn't make Castle a priority until he almost left her, saying "I'm done" in episode 4x23. After Castle confessed his love in 3x24, Beckett put him on hold for a year, expecting him to wait for her like "no matter what loyal puppy dog", despite her earlier betrayal of claiming she didn't remember anything about the time she got shot. It was always about Beckett's priorities, Beckett's choices, Beckett's personal struggles, Beckett's mother's death, Beckett's traumas, Beckett's healing and Beckett's blah blah blah. So, yes, Beckett messed up, or rather, the writers did in this episode. Castle was always there for her, but she wasn't for him. She even prioritized her Washington job over their relationship in a later episode, keeping the job offer hidden from Castle. So, not good character, Kate Beckett.

Definitely would have gotten with him if not for the assassination attempt. She was crumbling and hoes aren’t loyal.

There goes Beckett’s FBI career. Really wish that she had worked longer as a federal agent which would have been an interesting plot line, her distant relationships with Castle and the NYPD crew aside.

Cool thing about this episode is that it balanced insanity and possibility

The man who kidnapped Castle's daughter wouldn't let her or her father go at all because he kidnapped her in America, which is a Federal Offense. Good that the kidnapper got what he deserved from Castle's father and that not of the kidnapper's men dared come get Castle & Alexis after they got out into the street and made it to the U.S. Embassy.

Oh whoa, rewatching this again, her reaction. She stops dead in her tracks and, i can only imagiine, her head just became lightheaded immediately, as she takes another step, she flinches as if she is about to almost fall down. I still get chills with this episode.

It's funny how much chemistry they had in this show even though in real live she hated the show that's why there no season after 8 there was supposed to be 10 loksat was supposed to be season 9 ending leading to season 10 which was life Beckett and castle kids and the fact castle was going to try to come a government person weather that's police govner or something it would of been nice to see the actual ending where it's starting there life as parents and captain Beckett was now further than captain like commissioner Beckett and castle was governor power duo. But sadly that never happened

I love the way he says "Kate," here. He's just resigned to the fact that he isn't going to make it, and he's trying to get her to see the same. You can hear it all in his voice.

This scene literally made me “😱😱😱😱😱😱” at the tv! Beckett loves Alexis and she was scared shitless for her but this dumb witness’ made Beckett go “look HONEY! I’m NOT THE ONE!!!” Detective Kate Beckett is by far the BEST detective to ever grace the screen in the history of television!!!” Love love love Beckett and Alexis’ relationship! This showed how much Beckett loved her and proved she had those mama lioness instincts towards her! Mess with Alexis Castle, and you’re DEAD! Meredith may have given birth to Alexis, but Kate Beckett was her Mom!
