I am very interested in the cooling system, specifically which HVAC inline fan you're using. Is that a sim-racing system that you bought as a set, or did you DIY? Also, how strong is the fan in CFM? What is the usual temperature of your room and does the cooling help? I live in the tropics where the temperature in my room is usually around 30C or higher, I was thinking of getting a 800CFM 8" inline fan and setting it up like yours (will reduce vents down to standard 3" sizes), I'm hoping the cooling will be enough.

Maybe Ron injected an self-sustaining pursuit of excellence at McClaren that persists after his exit, but I really feel like they lost so much by ousting him. The guy built and ran one of the most dominant teams in the sport.

Awesome rig set up, i love the way you have customised it exacly how you want it, right down to a cooling system. Thats the great thing about this hobby is that over the years its possible to improve the experience as you go along.

What do you use for the fan system? Is that a complete kit that can be bought? Thing is, I don’t want a wind simulator. It doesn’t make sense to me as you wouldn’t feel wind in 90% of race cars. I just want a fan system that’s functional like the one you have....for VR.

Can you put the list of the components? It looks amazing even for ex-racing driver like myself. I am amazed how this simracing went ahead. I used to be one of the first one with Grand Prix from Microprose using it. Initially I did not have wheel. I was using my Thrustmaster joystick. I am just trying to learn and catch up. It seems a huge market and products for each budget. I wonder buying a real gokart would not be cheaper and more realistic?

If you look at the 'description', he does list the names of the major components. All you have to do is "google" each one to find their respective URL/web-site(s) While a go-kart *might* be cheaper, this guy can race 24/7....something you can't do with a Go-Kart! :-)
