I have a video on this as well. I just about burned up in my North Face Mountain 25 tent. You did everything right (in my opinion) with the exception of using a 3 season tent in the winter. Get a 4 season tent and you'll be roasting in no time. Yes, 4 season tents are more expensive but, what they provide in warmth is well worth the price of admission. I liked your video.

Carbon monoxide is actually lighter than air. Carbon dioxide is heavier than air. You should hang your CO detector from the ceiling or about 5 feet off the ground.

Circulating air around is key! + from personal experience - get an all-season tent like Kodiak, which provides better insulation and air movement control. Makes a world of difference going from a summer tent like yours to a canvas tent like Kodiak. Your wife will thank you (mine did )))

it is my understanding that it is good manners to ask the Walmart management if you can spend the night . Just call them. Most Walmarts allow it. Also look for any signs indicating no overnight parking. Some Walmarts have them.

Very nice! I got puzzle mats from Amazon for floor covering, helps the knees and insulates. I use a cot with clear tubs underneath. Good luck as you get your camp gear organized! 😊

I like it, simple and healthy and good 👍🏻. Plus you have your good pups with you. I've slept in the back of my truck with the canopy before and it ruined that night and the sound of rain on the roof is relaxing to me. In a dry place that doesn't get water soaked and leak. Take care 🌄🌄👍
