What somehow makes this all the more wild, is that this game came is set 10 years before persona 3 (set in 2009). So there's some stuff going down on Tatsumi Port Island while all this is happening. Also those millitary robots was developed at roughly the same time as Aigis

Thanks so much for making this video and for the shoutout! I completely agree, Deadlocked is such a refreshing take on the series and still manages to go back to its roots. In a way i believe it's almost a bit of a glimpse into an alternate reality, where the series went more in a dark, gritty direction instead of the story driven pixar feel we got instead - and i'm not sure i would've complained lol. Yea man, the soundtrack KICKS ASS, it's Bergeaud's swan song when it comes to the heartpumping adrenaline side of these Games. There's a little bit of that grittyness in R&C 3 or Size Matters but Deadlocked was Insomniac handing Bergeaud a free pass to go completely nuts. I remember back in the day me and a good friend would fail the challenges on purpose just to listen to the "Challenge Failed" music, haha. I hope i'll find the time to give this soundtrack the love it deserves myself some day, watching your video made me all hyped already ;)

Damn, this game is my entire childhood. I played the hell out of the first 2 games. I remember my parents got me the 3rd game for ps2 for my birthday all the way from Australia to the UK. I remember trying to play it but it was stuck on the loading screen. Had to get my ps2 modded so I could play it. These small games are just so great. I wish Krome can get the funding in the future to continue their dreams of this franchise. I guess without the remasters this franchise would have been dead a long time ago. Great video. The full history of Mysims is that I stayed home from school every single release date of the Mysims games from the original to Agents. When Kingdom came out I lived across the street from my middle school but I was so excited I scurried out to the car to get the game box from my step-dad and scurried back inside like the school security team would see and arrest me for not really being sick.
