I appreciate your message and rooting Revelation in the present day of John and on the horizon, the coming of the Lord. That "Day of the Lord" has been and still is pressing in on our horizon since John`s day. I consider myself a modified futurist. When you critique a linear time line, you may be directing some valid points at the futurist who tend to detach the future from John`s day. However I think John situates his message in the outline of Jesus` Olivet Discourse in Matthew 24. There is a sequential time line of beginning of birth pangs and the end is not yet, Daniel`s desolating abomination, great tribulation and cosmic signs before the trumpet sounds. Ever since the ascension and Pentecost, Jesus has the sealed scroll of Daniel and history`s future. The seals have been broken and the 4 horses released and the 5th seal of martyrdom continues to this day. The 6th seal of cosmic signs of Joel unfolding from the darken sun at the crucifixion and subsequent blood moons set the stage for the anticipated Day of the Lord. But the day of judgement of the 4 winds was delayed for the sealing of the saints. Also the last trump was delayed for John to warn the nations with his message. The dragon was cast down to earth after the war in heaven. Now the saints of John`s day and our day overcome him living in the shadow of the last 3 1/2 years until the man of sin is revealed when he desolates the Temple and the great tribulation begins. John does set out a time line. Five kingdoms have trampled down Jerusalem, the 6th was Rome in the present of John`s day, and a 7th out of which an 8th would come was future. Some think the 7th has already come in the Islamic Caliphate whose head has been severed until healed in the 8th and little horn kingdom. I look forward to hearing more of your teaching and if you see the dragon as already cast down as I do, but delayed in revealing the little horn and the last 1260 days, 42 months and 3 1/2 years.

To go in the Rapture we MUST believe EVERY WORD OF GOD (Matthew 4:4) including the “Specific word of God for this day.” The Lord stated that He would send HIS PROPHET at THIS TIME, to “RESTORE” the Word of God. For this is he that was spoken of by the prophet Elijah, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight. John, “Prepared the way for the Lord,” John did NOT “Restore anything,” as that which would need to be restored, (The full understanding of the whole Bible,) had not yet been given. The Lord stated that He would send His prophet to restore the Word of God. Matthew 17:11. And Jesus answered and said unto them, Elijah truly shall FIRST COME, and RESTORE all things. God has fulfilled the above scripture in “THIS DAY.” This scripture also predicts the Elijah prophet for “This day”..... Malachi 4:5. Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet BEFORE the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord. This Elijah prophet comes just before, “The coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord,” which happens in this day. We are now living in the last days, God has kept His word and sent that prophet, thereby “Restoring” His word to His Bride. These and other “Prophetical scriptures” fulfilled: Malachi 4:5.
