I would consider that the speed of rotation is the problem as in a little fast

Most model railways that go to exhibitions have glass or plastic screens at the front to deter people from touching the models. Because of this you can sometimes get glare from the screen when filming which can ruin the shot. Also most model railways are much lower than eye level so get a general overview of the layout I choose to film from a place that most people see the model railway from which is eye level.
