Brothers & Sisters is considered one of the better albums by the Allman Brothers band after Duane Allman's passing. It has the southern rock classic, "Ramblin' Man," and the 7 & a half minute instrumental, "Jessica." Both are must have songs!

"I Just Want To Celebrate" is a pretty great song by Rare Earth. 🌎

Johnny The Fox by Thin Lizzy is a pretty cool album. "I Don't Believe a Word" is a great song!🦊

The Captain And Me is a very good album by the Doobie Brothers. It has a great southern song, "Dark Eyed Cajun Woman" (perfect for there in New Orleans). It also has their hardest rocking hit, "China Grove!"

I discovered the Raconteurs when I was getting CDs from the Public Library prior to the pandemic. I just took it because it was rock, but then when I got home & looked at it closer, I saw that Jack White was in the band. It's pretty decent.

I'm with you Kevin. " Overkill / Testament " should have been in the big four rather than " Anthrax " I have that " Tesla " Five Man London Jam, and like it . From memory the vocals were fine, they recorded it at " Abbey Road " studios. I'm now buying C.D's when i can find them cheap enough, or instead of pricey vinyl.

Nice CD haul! I picked up 14 CDs from my local record store and Goodwill this weekend. I got the Singles soundtrack, Rancid, Infectious Grooves, Ugly Kid Joe, Blind Melon, Lemonheads, and others. I found the Mallrats soundtrack but it was missing the CD. I was soo bummed. Are you crazy??? SLAYER!!!!!!

I have Great White - " Hooked ", the original pervert edition😄 I think Steve is the only person in the Vinyl Community who owns those original early Great White Albums. I do not have them!. That " Rappers Delight " and Midnight Oil Promo. are great finds Kevin. When i lived in Australia i used to get excited when i saw Peter Garrett on television as well as being in the band Midnight Oil he was a Australian Govt. Minister!. I had my long boxes all over my bedroom walls back in the day. I was able to salvage a few important ones.

" Badfinger " records are hard to come by. At least here, and probably will not ever be re-released on vinyl. I try to collect them when i see them. I like that " Kansas " record you showed , and i think i had a " Bloodrock " record at some point i found somewhere. I always ask when someone is selling a bunch a records, " Whose collection is this? ". As often there are stories behind the records, that make them special. Cheers Kevin.

You mentioned CD long-boxes. I still have all my long-boxes from Alice Cooper's CDs, just because I'm a hug e Alice fan. The only two other than Alice that I still have are Victims Of The Fury by Robin Trower, and the Light Of Day soundtrack, with Joan Jett and the Barbusters, mainly because that one had a couple photos on the long-box that did not appear in the CD booklet. 🕷🕸

Some good prices for that U2, Rolling Stones, and Elixir. I don't have it but enjoyed that " Halsey " album a lot when it came out. Trent Reznor really lifted that as a pop album. Temple of Void I do not know anything about , but if its very doomy and melodic in places it might be one for me. I did not know that Primus did a version of the XTC song " Making Plans for Nigel " I will have to try and stream it somewhere to give it a listen. As its a great song. All the best for 2025!.

Yeah, the "peace" sign for Enuff Z'Nuff is basically on almost every album (especially the vinyl reissues) - similar to Loudness albums... you almost can't differenciate between them all...

I like the song " Roads To Madness " off " The Warning ". Todd La Torre is a good replacement for Geoff Tate I.M.O and I liked " Digital Alliance". Try Todd's solo album " Rejoice in the Suffering " its really good as well. I really enjoy Peter Framptons first two solo albums a lot!. I'm looking for his 3rd one. I have a few Queens Of the Stone age albums. I like their first one and " Like Clockwork ", you would probably know the song " No-One Knows " its very popular. Dave Grohl played drums on that one.

Great find with Megadeth! Those 2 Montrose albums are good too... but the first Montrose S/T is an all-time classic! "I've got the Fire" was the popular song off of Paper Money (which was later covered by Iron Maiden in the 80s) I have that MC Cancelled EP and it sux! :)

People went nuts when that Pumpkins " Mellon Collie " was re-released as it had been out of print for so long. And was a crazy price, I got it later on. Really nice presentation with that set. As for Cowboy Mouth, it wasn't until I moved away from New Orleans that I actually bought their music. It was late '90s and I was missing everything I had left behind, when I saw that CD with "Jenny Says" on it in a used-CD store. You could listen to them first, and the lines, "the Texas sun beats down upon me like the Devil's smile. I'd rather be anywhere else than here," followed shortly by the chorus, "Take me back to New Orleans and drop me at my door," were exactly what I was feeling! I KNEW I had to buy that CD! When I had lived there, my friend and I always drank in a bar where the bartender was the brother of band member, Fred Sanchez. ⚜

From Better Than Ezra I have that Deluxe on CD, and also their holiday song, "Merry Christmas Eve." That's all I have by them, but I like all that! My favorite songs are "The Killer Inside," and the aforementioned "Merry Christmas Eve." 🎄

If you love blink182, you must have that song, "I Won't Be Home for Christmas!" That is the only song I have by them, but I LOVE it! The lyrics are hilarious! "When the Carolers start to sing, I can't describe the joy they bring, because joy is something they don't bring me" 🎄

I have a Jolt Cola shirt (it's a red golf shirt, but it has the Jolt Cola logo on the breast) that I got years ago at a second-hand store in good shape. 👕🌩

I got a pretty good haul about 1-2 weeks ago at a garage sale in an upscale neighborhood that I drive through on my way home from work each day. No vinyl, but I got 14 CDs for $12, and they were all in great condition. Got "Greatest Hits" CDs from Boston, Journey, Loverboy, Night Ranger, REO Speedwagon, Starship, Jim Croce, B.B. King, Muddy Waers, the Temptations, & "The Pretender" by Jackson Browne. Got 2 Christmas CDs from Johnny Mathis, & Mad Men TV show, & then various artist 80's Pop Hits, a 3-CD set (I only like 2-3 songs from each, but those plus maybe one surprise song per disc equals one worthy CD).

That Refreshments album seems like something that needs to be in my collection! Love that artwork! I agree that was the era where Joan Jett looked her hottest! You should show off those 2 ThunderMother albums you got :)

The budget was blown on the sign - Made me laugh!😅 One way like your method of reading the CD liner notes for shout outs. I used to see what other band shirts ,artists i would like were wearing, and try them out. Found quite a few good bands that way. The hunt for cheap good C.D's has kinda replaced a lot of vinyl hunting for me as prices for vinyl increase. I am patiently awaiting that Thrash/Metal video🤘 and thanks for the shout-outs.
