@lemax2980 Thank you! My thoughts around individual company analysis are that there are so many companies out there, I only want to do deeper dives on ones that seem like a reasonable enough price now based on a quick financial review. However, I can always do a deeper dive on any company, if you wish! Appreciate you!

@@Actuarialvalueinvesting4-lw5fvthank you. I can totally understand brother 👍 love your quick screening through the income statements.. Also it would be great if you could help us with a list of stocks you believe would be great for long term investment at current prices, justifying your analysis. Individual videos are also really cool, but consolidating good stocks into buckets will be really helpful for beginner investors like myself to get an initial quick start into long term investment, such as stocks which you personally feel would be good valuation at current prices and have strong fundamentals.

@@davidford8539 I think when I do my deeper dive, I am going to compare them with Bookings. I view them from a consumer standpoint as similar, but bookings is a much larger company that grew more over the last 10 years AND has significantly higher ROIC AND margins. @brianrachmat3492 I would say that is currently a solid average to be in at given my preliminary analysis. I haven't done a deep dive yet on the business, but I will have to look into the $10B acquisition in 2022. I will work on doing a deep dive into this business to better answer this question.

We see this project flow beginning to ramp up in 2025 but we expect 2026 will be the year when we see transformational growth. In preparation for the growth we see coming, we're focused on making investments in people and equipment that will help us capture and deliver the large volume of projects in our pipeline of opportunities. In closing, we are very healthy across our business. We are delivering at higher margins. We have dramatically improved our cash and liquidity position. We are profitable, and we have a strong growth trajectory over the coming years,

@@Tay04723 A triple might be aggressive for one year from now, but they say they are really going to hit their stride during 2026 so by the end of 2026 I believe it is possible as long as the need for marine infrastructure is a tailwind.

@davidford8539 I think those are reasonable assumptions! The margins are a bit tough for me, given that the FCF is consistently much above NI and they jumped much larger from COVID. I am partway through deeper research and plan on posting that shortly. I condensed the margins a bit more as well from my initial analysis.

I did a video on PETS a couple of days ago. Its profitable again and if you back out the cash and real estate you are getting the business for free even with the back taxes liability. They are too small to get the same volume discounts as covetrus or Chewy so the best outcome is a sale to a larger competitor.

The balance sheet doesn’t factor in to the calculation? What about enterprise value
@Actuarialvalueinvesting4-lw5fvАй бұрын
@Jim-m3z I try to incorporate the balance sheet in both my capital allocation (Could be % increase in revenue from the short-term reinvestments or share repurchases) as well as P/E or P/FCF if they consistently have large variance between market cap and enterprise value. I think if you do not explicitly count for it in capital allocation, then the P/E and P/FCF should be adjusted to be based on EV. IT is definitely important to keep net cash in perspective. In this example, InMode has more than $700M in cash/short term investments with no short term or long term debt. This should be taken into consideration because they could sell the short term investments and immediately hand then money to the share holders as a dividend, which directly affects stock price. They could also buy back that amount in shares, which should also affect the stock price. For most company's, I look at this figure and try to incorporate into capital allocation, as you can assume greater than 100% capital allocation due to cash like products on hand. You are absolutely correct! Happy to discuss in further detail if desired, and we can have a more in-depth chat about appropriateness.

@Actuarialvalueinvesting4-lw5fv2 ай бұрын
@Omahaneb6 The below is an in-depth video review of the company. There are two things I need to figure out before investing, even given the review saying it is a buy. The first is what is going to happen with the convertible debt. I need to see if there will be a massive dilution or whether they will get paid from cash and cash equivalent. The second is to create your own perspective about whether AI tools like ChatGPT and Gemini are going to take over paid for subscription learning services, like Chegg. Nobody knows the answer to that question, but you have to come up with your own projection based on heavy research. I believe any positive cash producing business can be worth something, but I need to answer as best I can the questions I have surrounding the future of positive FCF. kzbin.info/www/bejne/qqK4iICNq9FkmJo

good analysis but what is the freight outlook? I think they do focus on the LNG market.
@Actuarialvalueinvesting4-lw5fv2 ай бұрын
@ks351 That is absolutely an important question! I am no expert in the tankers freight market, but I do have some thoughts and knowledge on the subject. Domestically, the demand for oil and natural gas products may dampen due to the popularity of renewal energy sources that can create "infinite" energy with less impact to the world. However, the demand internationally is still likely going to increase well into the future. I believe the demand for "easy" fuel options will likely have solid demand into the future due to its current "cheapness" compared to other options for the average country. With company valuation over the next seven years, I think I am fairly confident with demand not being dampened internationally in that time period. Now if we were valuating it over 20 to 30 years, that is something that I do not confidence in.
