Beastly. My girlfriend was taking contraceptives. She was invited to a screening at her local doctors. Afterwards she described the procedure used by the doctor and the probe he used to take a swab. It sounded like abuse. I think she was suggesting she had been abused. I was sympathetic but did nothing. That was 1982. I hope things have changed.
