This is definitely Cream. Listen for the operatic tone in Jacks voice. Janis Joplin was quoted as saying that she wanted his tone and range.

The great Jack Bruce, sadly missed. Sounding a little bit like his Manfred Mann colleague Paul Jones at times.

The amount of energy and frequency bending, rib cracking power Bruce creates is unparalleled. Heard nothing like it.

Moby Dick a close second. Mind you, Bonham had only one bass drum so he was closer to Ginger than Ginger thought he was with his massive ego. Being jazz trained meant shit. Bonham had way more power.

ok then listen to 'camels and elephants' by graham bond (1964). this is gingers solo before cream, one bass drum. enough said.

Whenever I hear or read about a bassist who’s been proclaimed the newest top player that nobody could possibly out maneuver on stage, I pull up a the JEB playing live and I just chuckle as I try to remember the new guy’s name! I’ve seen so many big name bassist and the Ox’s right hand speed still amazes me! RIP Ox!
