Thanks for the video. Great demo! How did you get it to change speeds? Mine manual says to put into sport mode, to push right joystick to the left. But that doesn't seem to change anything.

There is button under the left Joystick a little to the right of the Joystick (should be the only button on that side, if you press it, it will change the speed, if you long press it (hold for 3 seconds or so) it will turn off the GPS, so just press it quickly! I don't like the idea of having to charge it with a USB port it's okay as a backup but I'd rather have a 110 charger

No the controller connect wireless to the drone and your cellphone connect to the drone via a wifi signal that comes from the drone, this how the drone and the app communicate, to send the live video feed from the drones camera to your cellphone, remember it is just a wifi signal so you Do Not Need an Internet Connection

This is not a beginner's drone controls are not smooth this is a terrible drone!Only things good about this drone is it's camera and it's case!I'm sorry but this is not an honest review.i had bought one myself because of this video and a few others and now I'm regretting it. Drone is in it's case sitting in the corner collecting dust. I should've gotten a one with a gps instead.

Your right! You should've gotten a GPS drone, they are a lot easier to fly when have no idea what your doing, this absolutely is a beginners drone, maybe if you took the 10 minutes it takes to read the manual you wouldn't had an issue flying it, and I am guessing you tried to fly it outside with some wind blowing, this drone is made to fly indoors or outside with absolutely no wind!

Got this drone for Christmas, I followed the pairing procedure to a T and I've gotten it to pair once. Now all it does is beep and say connecting. Holy stone is telling me to send them the drone and ill get a replacement. I'm wondering if its worth it

It is a decent drone, I would let them replace it, just like all electronic stuff, Sometimes you get one that may have a glitch!

Can someone please explain to me how to safely land this drone… I keep bringing it down but stopping is an issue and I try not to use the emergency stop button! How can I land the drone safely please?

You can use the RTH button and the drone will automatically land from where it took off from, otherwise to manually land the drone just keep the left Joystick pulled back towards you until the drone lands and the motors shutoff (propellers stop spinning) it will land just give it a min or two!

No that 19min is just hovering in no wind! It gets more like 15 to maybe 17 minutes

@HubCityDrones There's a upgraded HS440G out now. You should review it. They added brushless motors now. Only one person has reviewed it. Im upgrading my HS440 to the HS440G. The HS 440G and Hs440D are now within $10-$20 dollars of each other. Brushless motors and full 4K 25fps, and supposed better range . The HS440D has to be used in 2.7K setting to get 25fps or else it's 15fps in 4K which I feel the 2.7K setting would be better. 25fps is kindve the minimum without getting too choppy. I prefer 30 fps, wish the 440G has 30 fps but 25 fps will do.

@@HubCityDrones there was people making some complaints on this drone..saying it toilet bowls in the air while in flight ..you have any times like this with yours?

Not that I can remember, but I also higher end drone that will toilet bowl, it's caused when the drone doesn't get a good Compass Calibration, if it does toilet bowl 1st don't panic, just land the drone power it off and on again and do the Compass Calibration again, it's also a good idea to do the Gyro Calibration again as well, when you do the compass calibration try to keep the drone at least 3ft or so above the ground and make sure your not right next to any metal awnings or power lines even the metal rebarb under co concrete can effect the Calibration!

Just got my hs440 yesterday and I must say they should take down every reviews on this model because bi have spent 5 months of my life watching reviews to make sure I GET EXACTLY what I SEE ON THESE REVIEWS. WELL I FINALLY GOT MINE AND THERE WAS ONLY ONE BATTERY AND IT WAS IN THE DRONE ITSELF I FEEL RIPPED OFF!

Great video, thank you. But connecting to the drone with the phone is not that simple. I'm getting errors. Telling me it's connected without internet. This wi-fi network isn't providing an internet connection.

That's because your not connecting to the internet, your only connecting to the wifi signal so the drone can send the live video feed to your cellphone, the wifi connection is how the drone and the app communicate, I tell you in the video that when that pop-up appears on your cellphone that says connected without internet, to keep the connection anyway and tap on always connect! It won't take off if it has not acquired enough satellite signals, it's usually between 7 to 10 and it can about a min or two or so to connect to enough satellites!

Make sure it is fully charged and on this controller you have to press the power button once and then quickly press it again and hold it in for a second or two and the controller should power on!

Great video. I have 2 drones. One beginner drone without any slick features. I still have it after 3 years Then I got the Bugs 26 Pro. Very nice, similar to this one but less features. Looking forward to this one.
