Not sure but I think when starting your new color it will seem that you will have ch3 and FPTR in one HDC. I remember that I had to watch the video multiple times at a slower speed in order to follow along with stop and go. Mine were a larger size 60 and 80 (80 being too big). Trial and error I finally just compensated and put two fptr in the same st. When changing color especially round 3 I would recommend starting in another spot other than where you ended with the hdc count the hdc sts and decide how many for each set. The example is for small 12 sts 4 sets. I made 12 sts 5 sets and ex LG was 15 sts 5 sets. I hope someone else can help too as I am just a hobby type crochet person but love to make challenging projects.

@@nogoodatmaths It is actually a V st to increase and a /\ (reverse V) to decrease in the pattern.

@@nelrondeau7572 ahhh, I was wondering why it was just a decrease!!! That's my mistake. I have cast off and am starting elsewhere, on a trial one at the moment. The increase / decrease is fine at all the other places, just the chain 3, colour change area. Thank you again

@@nogoodatmaths the ch3 is not counted when you change color it just kind of disappears in the back.
