These are all amazing machines and represent massive steps forward in this particular field of aviation. The biggest problem I can see for the majority of them at the moment is the lack of endurance/range, but hopefully with advances in battery technology etc, this won't be a long term problem.

Yes cool, but misleading A welder has a box and bottles the size of a small fridge you can carry it on a truck and power with a portable generator A laser welder has a box the size of a shed, you need a semi to deliver and month or 2 to set up, and way more power Good old acetylene is still the most portable
