Dude...seriously??....way late on the Christmas present this year. Lol.... I've been trying to learn to play one of your songs for like 4 years now. Every few months I give it a go again. Until i get pis**d that I'm getting old, im not as fast as I use to be, and my hands are too tore up. I tell every musician I meet about ole Brandon. That your #1 on my list and "to look up trenches or emerald and try to ignore the piano". I never thought some of the best playing I'd ever hear would be paired wth a piano. Just shows the level of playing you've elevated to. Put out more music bruh bruh.. We(your fans) all need to keep pushing and sharing your music to the masses.

Ahh duuude i gotta comment after coming back for the 100th time, this piece shows how well you expand and highlight the musical pulse in everything you play! You pick up on and play off of subtle intricacies in the melody/harmony so incredibly well, the pocket gets too deep! I also love to see the maturity and composure youve grown behind the kit over the years, and im not one of those "dont overplay" types, i love da chops. You've just learned to say so much more in far less hits, and it really shows in moments like 1:26-1:43- I still get that stank face having seen it quite a bit

My friend and I were just discovering Polyphia. Their music was still fresh in our minds, there were still un-heard tracks to be discovered... We randomly picked the next video in our adventure into the musical brains of these young prodigies. "Envision" ft. Rick Graham. Sounds good, let's do it... So far my buddy and I were seriously impressed with this band. "Envision" began with the drums, I'm a drummer, and I hadn't connected the dots or had even heard it yet. I'm not worthy Brandon... Before the intro was even finished, we were no longer looking at the screen, we were looking at each other... What? He heard and saw the same thing I saw, the drummer... Polyphia is still good, I dig what they are doing, but... eh! Brandon came along and inspired the hell out of me, I'm 42, and he is my favorite drummer. That said... I might be bias!
@BrandonBurkhalterАй бұрын
Aw, means a lot, man! Glad you dig the old Polyphia stuff and I appreciate your support here on my channel. :)

@@BrandonBurkhalter I only have one complaint, 87 drum playthrough... put that back up, lol... I miss that video with such passion. It was my favorite, And for the record, my friends are guitarists and you managed to stop them in their tracks with your complex drumming with seemingly no effort being exerted. Your technique is flawless which is why among several other reasons, you are my favorite drummer!

Always love seeing your worship auditions my man!! Your writing and work on Renaissance personally helped me a lot in my playing, so thank you big time for that masterpiece. Any way you still have that Reckless Love playthrough here on the channel? Youd be my hero if you put that back up, I show it to newer drummers at the churches i play at, its like a masterclass in pocket/groove minimalism and extreme control over dynamics. youre a legend for putting worship on the channel, and i love your new stuff as always!
