I've always wanted to restore the snow sled, but it seems like the runners are too narrow for the amount of snow we get here in Texas. Maybe I'll add some old skis to it. It might affect the steering, but it'll mostly go downhill on its own.
@CatalystRestorations15 күн бұрын
I thought the exact same thing, but it turns out all that matters is if you're base layer of snow is compacted down. You could only get 1/4" of snow and amazingly that thing will still FLY down the hill.

@@madeinchile9584 diesel or any fuel as a cleaning fluid in an ultrasonic cleaner is a dangerous combo and not something I could ever recommend to my viewers unfortunately. In 1975 my elderly neighbor lady gave me a job. I was seven years old. The job was pulling weeds from the beans in her garden. She paid me with a toolbox with files, rasps, and hand tools. This box had belonged to her late husband who had passed twenty years previously. I was mad to say the least. I wanted something cool or cash. Later she paid me with his fishing equipment. I was ecstatic. A few years later I sold the tools (after she had also passed) at my mother’s garage sale. I probably asked for $5 or something. The tiny amount of money I made went to my binoculars savings. If only I had known that those tools were solid gold. Today I would pay $500 for the exact same tools and feel like I got a bargain. I was young and dumb and full of……. stuff.
