It's genius. I'm going to do the same thing but use a HitchMate cargo stabilizer bar and not only zip tie the crates together, but also zip tie the crates to the bar in the back of my truck to place groceries in. No sense of spending $200 for a plastic bin and bar they sell on Amazon. The crazy thing is a lot of people that buy the Red Hound rear bed storage bin, they all complain it doesn't come with dividers....milk crates! It's perfect and modular.
@swampland2 жыл бұрын
Yep. Thanks man! I love it. It works for camper shells and truck bed covers. Iv just about converted some family and friends. Now they have it too!

Need ya a real long set of beefy drawer slides.... pull that out like a drawer.. good cheap way to keep stuff organized. You seen the truck with its outside fenders hinged? You pull a latch and the whole outside body of the truck folds down and shelves n whatnot.. cooler than dynamite fishin..

nice job. about to undergo a project on a 1652 weldcraft. your issue with the hatch not having locks, there is a company that makes a bar that spans from gunnel to gunnel and locks (looks like a big cargo bar) that you could use when storing tackle in your boat when not fishing.
