Too many sopranos have "stolen" this aria from the mezzo-sopranos that it has become so normal, we now praise 12-year-old girls who sing the aria. As pointed-out in the comments, by DiomedesDioscuro :: _Chest, chest._

@sarahcasasola9492 :: No, not always. Rossini wrote some very formidable roles for mezzo-sopranos and contraltos. The texture of their voices are some of the highest points in opera. If sopranos are going to sing mezzo-soprano roles, they should have a semblance of that lower-range quality ; ok, if not, at least they shouldn't sound like immature girls. This singer was too extreme in lightness to really appreciate the aria. It's just my opinionated opinion.

If the sound through the medium of video is any where near accurate, this is a voice that should have a fine career....probably in Europe where the pay is better and the opportunities greater ( more opera houses)...and that's a bit of a shame that one in US may not have a chance to see this singer "live"
