Can this video be redone if possible?? 😂😂❤😅 I would like to see more piano techniques I am a pianist and not an organist. I must say this, I like your videos, and whenever I get the chance I watch your live shows on KZbin, Great work !!! but The Piano is far more artistic and spicy than just arpeggios in this arrangement. 😢😢 I don’t see much difference between what the pianist and organist is doing in this arrangement.

Excellent. The Monk tune was a collaboration with his friend Revd Pott and is named “Angel Voices” for obvious reasons. A delightful tune. The Sullivan tune, as an alternative, is seldom used.

How do u know how to apply the tenor notes off hand without music sheet
@benosewele3744Ай бұрын
@@JoelAmieyeofori That's a good question. First, I have been doing music for about 22 years now. Part of this period was spent singing and directing choirs. In doing that, I have come to understand that there is a structure to harmony. Also, I try to learn new hymns from the music score....in addition do that, I have very good musical ears which makes it easy to listen to audio recordings of hymns and pick out individual parts

@benosewele3744 for me I can't play hymns offhand unless I have the staff sheet with me. Most especially on keys like A, E, Eb and Ab
@benosewele3744Ай бұрын
@JoelAmieyeofori It's very understandable. Each person has different approaches to playing. You can start by learning to play popular hymn tunes from score, then with time the patterns and structure become familiar and you can easily play from memory or even improvise when there is no sheet music
