BarakAllāhu Fīkum, hope you're doing well brother, to proceed: The scholars have said that it is an obligation (farḍ) for a woman to wear the ḥijāb when she reaches the age of puberty. However, some of the scholars mention that if a girl reaches 9 years of age, then at this age the girl should be considered as having reached puberty and thus should wear the ḥijāb. And this is because a lot of girls reach puberty at this age [See: Al-Ḥāwī al-Kabīr (2/174) of Imām al-Māwardi]. ʿĀʾishah (may Allah be pleased with her) said: *“If a girl reaches nine years of age, then she is a woman”* [Reported by al-Tirmidhī (no. 1109) and al-Bayhaqī in Sunan al-Kubrā (no. 1531)] Imām al-Shāfiʿī (d. 204 AH) said, *“I have seen many girls in Yemen who have began menstruating at the age of nine.”* End. [Reported in Ḥilyah al-Awliyāʾ (9/137) and Siyar Aʿlām al-Nubalāʾ (10/91). Something similar was reported by Imām Ibn Abī Ḥātim al-Rāzī in Ādāb al-Shāfiʿī (no. 49) with a Ṣaḥīḥ chain of narration]. With that being said, it is a good idea for parents to train their daughters to wear the Ḥijāb before a girl reaches the age of puberty. Imām Ibn al-Qaṭṭān al-Fāsī (d. 628 AH), Allāh have mercy upon him, said: *“The female is of two types: those who are legally responsible and those who are not. As for those who are not, then the speech regarding them is like the speech regarding others who are not legally responsible people. Just like none of them are commanded [to perform the obligations], likewise none of the women who are not legally responsible are commanded to do so. However, these girls are cultivated and trained, and they should be raised with protection and concealment. One additional point that is obligatory upon the parents in regards to the young daughters is to guard their ʿawrah…”.* End. [Mukhtaṣar al-Naẓr fī Aḥkām al-Naẓr (pg. 29)] Shaykh Ibn ʿUthaymīn (d. 1421 AH), Allāh have mercy upon him, said: *“From what is known is that a person is affected by something when they are young and it will continue to influence them when they get older. So like this, the Nabī (ﷺ) commanded us to command our children to pray at seven years of age and to discipline them. So a child is upon whatever they are accustomed to…”* End. [al-Liqāʾ al-Shahrī (10/66)] The Permanent Committee said, *“It is necessary for him (i.e. the parent) to train the daughter to wear the ḥijāb before puberty so that she is accustomed to it, and so that it is easy for her to adhere to it [later]”.* End. [Fatāwā al-Lajnah (no. 4470)] It comes in the Ḥadīth of Muʿāwiyah bin Abī Sufyān (may Allāh be pleased with them both) that the Nabī (ﷺ) said: الْخَيْرُ عَادَةٌ *"Good is a habit"* [Ṣaḥīḥ Ibn Mājah no. 182] Thus, training a young girl to wear the ḥijāb while not forcing her to do so is a good practice and something that will in shāʾ Allāh benefit the child in the long-run. And Allāh knows best. Answered by: Abū Sulaymān Faisal

80 %of the ummah are non arab speaking....so is sheikh suggesting that a student goes direct to the quran without knowing language ,grammar usool etc... Also why didnt sheilh just say that the student should enrol into a madrassah or darul uloom ? Isn't that the best course of action
@AH232327 күн бұрын
I ask Allah to bless you and guide you to every good in this life and the next brother. The Shaykh spoke as he did because he was speaking in Arabic to an Arab audience, and because it is not possible for someone to be considered a student of knowledge without knowing Arabic. Thus, the assumption was that the people this question is relevant to already know Arabic. Likewise, the Shaykh never implied that someone should learn the Quran without referring to the correct sources to understand it. As for enrolling into a madrasah then that is not necessary and certainly wasn't in his time, as the scholars are readily available to seek knowledge from without doing so. I hope this helps.

ok brothers, so I believe this too Alhamdulillah. But how to point out the person’s name to identify that this is the grave of such and such? also is it permissible to write their birth date and death date? JazakAllahu khairan.
@MarkazSunnahUK22 күн бұрын
BarakAllahu Feekum, the ulama have discussed that it is permissible to mark a grave using a stone or a pebble in order for it to be identifiable, as the Nabi did this, however as for writing on them then this is impermissible as stated in the video. We hope this helps.

Of course, my brother. This isn’t anything on a large scale. I have a KZbin channel and accounts on other social media platforms. I just want to share the videos there without any editing. However, I do not make any money from my social accounts. Secondly, most Muslims in my country do not practice according to the true teachings of the Quran and Sunnah. I want to bring the authentic guidance of Islam to all Muslims. In this context, what could be better than relying on trustworthy scholars? However, we are not proficient in the Arabic language. I believe that the translated lectures of scholars like Sheikh Uthaymeen (Rahimahullah) and Saleh Al-Fawzan (Hafizahullah) will be very beneficial. I just want to play a small part in this propagation. It is not for any worldly gain. My future plan is to promote Islamic knowledge and lectures by reliable scholars in three languages: English, Arabic, and Bangla. Additionally, I am currently working on copyright-free Quran recitation videos. Managing several sectors at once is quite challenging for me. However, if I can get support and permission from other Muslim brothers, I hope to be able to expand its scope. I do these works in my free time. Thank you. Now, can I get the permission to reuse some of your videos???@@MarkazSunnahUK
