I’m guessing this added power capability is for a higher ceiling on the limit of force feedback? And maybe if power steering is simulated it can... do it better of some sorts? I’m telling you, after this power upgrade that wheel can handle beamng’s absurd force feedback from non PBR maps a lot better 😂😂😂
@FyberG11 ай бұрын
Is it better for drifting or is this a racing thing
@blackote11 ай бұрын
It makes it slightly better for drifting since the wheel spins faster
@deadeyeduncan502211 ай бұрын
I'm confused as to what actual benefit this provides. This seems like smoke and mirror shit, motor moves faster so must be better right? Still belt drive, still same motor responding to feedback. Wheel just spin faster...brrrrrr.
@blackote11 ай бұрын
Yes you're right, spins faster.. really it's a mod for those that decide to upgrade the stock wheel to something bigger (which honestly you shouldn't). More wear and tear on the plastic of the gears. But to those that have a Logitech and are happy with it, here's a mod

I had the same problem and after contacting Dan at Inline Fabrications, he instructed me on how to fix it. If I'd only read the instructions that came with it, I'd have been fine. The follower has a certain orientation to it, and it has to be placed on the rod in a certain way. Once I did what I was supposed to do in the first place, it works like a charm. Another winner from Inline Fabrication.

I am using a 12v psu and a step up module on mine. Got it set to 30v and I have the current set to around 6 - 7 amps. I am getting at least double the force over the original. I have also added cooling.

Nice, I think more and more are starting to play around with the logi internals.
@jcreedy202 жыл бұрын
@@blackote You should go for more current. 2 amps isn't enough to be a big upgrade. I would go at least 5 amps. The voltage increase will only really increase its spin speed, its amps that increases torque of the motors. I will test to see how much current it can take, I'll up the current bit by bit and monitor the temp of the motors and board with a thermal imager to see. At the moment I'm at 6 or 7 amps which gives a big torque increase!!
