3d modelling process takes lots of time and patience to learn! I've been modelling for 4+ years and I'm still learning new things! Sometimes it gets overwhelming because there's so much to learn! But take it slow, and do it at your own pace :) <3

how are you moving the strands because when i want to move one point in edit mode the whole strand moves with it

Click on a point and use key "G" to easily move! If the whole thing is moving, maybe your proportional editing is turned on. That's the little circle icon at the top that I've used around 5:31 in this video. Hope this helps!
